Our client has built a global platform while becoming a leader in providing premium, full turnkey solutions to a number of industries including government, education, military and the resource sector. They hire and sell remote workforce housing and modular workspace solutions.  As a result of continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced business development manager to a key leadership role.

Reporting to the group's Vice President, this role carries significant leadership responsibility of developing and implementing growth strategies for business opportunities across Western Australia.  Key responsibilities will include:
 
  • Sourcing new business development opportunities and sales initiatives
  • Providing leadership in negotiating and closing project opportunities including overseeing tender and contract negotiations
  • Establishing target markets and developing effective customer relationships to position the organisation as a strategic partner on prospective business opportunities
  • Maintaining an understanding of market trends, developments and opportunities across multiple sectors in the market
  • Liaising with existing customers providing high level support on customer service to maximise repeat business and referrals

A proven track record in a business development management role within modular workspace solutions and housing is essential with extensive exposure to Western Australia.  You must be a proven hunter with the ability to close a deal and will bring with you the ideal mix of strategic business development, commercial acumen and a strong network in the West Australian market.  In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary package including fully maintained vehicle and commission.
